Please join OCFL Commissioner Nicole Wilson and Chuck O’Nealfor a discussion tomorrow about the #Florida5 petition to protect wetlands, the right to clean water, protect iconic species, stop wildlife hunting and stop toll road expansion!

FL5.org is seeking to put five conservation amendments on the 2022 ballot. In order to do this, our goal is 900,000 signed and dated petitions by November 30, 2021. Follow @righttocleanwater for more info!
Captive Wildlife Hunting Ban: Captive wildlife hunting is a danger to Florida biodiversity, native wildlife, as well as our citizens. Protect our wildlife, native lands, public health, and prevent animal cruelty.
Right to Clean Water Petition: Help protect Florida’s beloved springs, rivers, and other waterways by prohibiting further pollution. Secure your right to clean water.
Florida Iconic Species Petition: By providing a private right of action to Florida citizens as this petition seeks to do, together we can provide protection for Florida’s wildlife species and their habitats. Protect Florida’s biodiversity and our natural, symbolic, and cultural heritage.
Toll Roads Expansion Ban: Currently, there is a proposed plan to destroy 52,000 acres of farmland and wildlife habitat for Florida toll roads, which would also increase unsustainable development across the state. Prohibit further construction of toll roads on conservation and rural lands and protect the quality of life for rural communities and natural lands of Florida.
Wetlands Protection Petition: The Florida Everglades is one of the largest wetlands in the entire world. Overall, the entire state of Florida is home to one of the largest wetlands acreage in the country. By prohibiting the draining, dredging, filling, or other degradation of our wetlands, we can prevent further harmful effects such actions have on our native wildlife and the environmental health of Florida. Protect our wetlands!
