The Community of Hunter’s Creek

A historic community not afraid of change.

Established in 1986, Hunter’s Creek is a 4,000-acre premier planned community in southwest unincorporated Orange County. It is 25,000 residents strong and the community is comprised of 36 single-family neighborhoods, four condominium properties, one townhome development and seven multi-family neighborhoods.

Hunter’s Creek boasts seven private parks plus two dog parks for resident use. There are a host of recreational amenities to enjoy, as well as three community buildings, including the Town Hall, which is home to the Hunter’s Creek Community Association staff.

There are ample opportunities to get involved with social groups and clubs, such as the Hunter’s Creek Women’s Association, the Sewing Angels and the Fab 50s seniors’ group. There are also service volunteer groups such as Citizens on Patrol (COP) and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Hunter’s Creek enjoys top-ranked schools as well. In addition, they host many happenings annually for the whole family, including some great events like Movie in the Park, Fall Festival and Holiday Twilight Parade, just to name a few. Summer Camp is always a big hit, and there are many other offerings for the kids as well.

Situated at the headwaters to the Everglades, Shingle Creek is also important to our community and an abundant array of wildlife flourishes here.

Hunter’s Creek is also conveniently located near shopping, dining, recreation, theme parks, industry and the airport.
