OC Animal Services: ARM Your Pet

Protect your Pet this month by vaccinating them against the rabies virus and microchipping them for free! Orange County Animal Services will be hosting these events on a first-come, first serve basis through a drive-thru.

Lunch & Learn: The Secret River with Opera Orlando

Opera meets Central Florida literature with this special Lunch & Learn hosted by Orange County’s Regional History Center. Adapted into an opera, the acclaimed children’s book The Secret River by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings will be presented at Mead Botanical Gardens on March 6 and 7. Enjoy a sneak peek of the performance from Opera Orlando singers and hear from composer Stella Sung and Prof. Kenneth Kidd from the University of Florida, a specialist on Rawlings.

HAPCO Jazz Fest 2026

Friday, March 20th from 6PM to 10PM

Enjoy a free evening of high-energy jazz in Ocoee with Scott Wilson & the UF Jazz Allstars, featuring lively bebop, funk, and swing. Hosted by the HAPCO Music Foundation and the City of Ocoee, this outdoor concert welcomes blankets and chairs, with free parking available. Scott Wilson—musician, composer, and educator—will perform on piano, trumpet, and EVI. Additional details are available here.


Women’s History Breakfast – Power Players: Women in Central Florida Sports

Join the Historical Society of Central Florida for the 7th Annual Women’s History Breakfast hosted by Orlando Pride. This inspirational morning will celebrate Central Florida women who opened doors in the sports industry and made their mark on history.

Our 2026 honorees include Mimi Chan, martial arts champion and international competitor; Cari Coats, former executive vice president of the Orlando Magic and a nationally recognized business leader and executive coach; the Orlando Pride, the city’s professional women’s soccer team; and the Orlando Rebels, the legendary women’s fastpitch softball team that helped put Central Florida on the national sports map.

Youth Networking Expo: What’s Next After College?

Next Event: March 28th

The upcoming Youth Networking Expo: What’s Next After College on March 28th is a free, four-part series designed to help students explore life after graduation.

Participants will gain a realistic look at college, trade school, volunteer opportunities, the military, and entering the workforce—along with practical guidance to help them plan their next steps and build a path forward. More information is available here.
